Austin was born and raised in Asheville, NC; a true Asheville native. He attended Appalachian State University and double majored in International Business and Spanish. After graduation, he spent the next decade working for Marriott's Autograph Collection, National Geographic's Lindblad Expeditions, building a variety of businesses, and traveling as often as possible. Austin felt drawn to cultivate the growth of Asheville and is on track to growing the best firm in North Carolina. His special interests involve short term rentals and complex sub-developments.
